Maximize Project Outcomes

The project-based nature and fragmentation of the Construction industry makes it difficult for civil design and construction team to standardize on a integrated platform and efficiently share information. Plus, competitive bidding practices and functional silos lead to padded estimates and poor outcomes.

A more scientific process for civil design and construction requires dissecting traditional industry practices and rethinking assumptions about collaboration, execution and information. Innovations like prefabrication, 4D modeling and real-time project management tools are empowering teams to build it once and build it right.

We used our specialized civil engineering BIM, enabling well-planned division of work, with different engineers deployed collaboratively for components, the skeleton and the steel structure.

Each civil design project brings a new combination of project members. Communicating and collaborating effectively across widely dispersed, multi-national, multilingual teams is challenging. It’s critical to openly share and accurately convey data across all project contributors, and to convert information to be relevant and coherent to each project stakeholders. Taking a holistic approach to the infrastructure project and referencing a visualization of the outcome as a whole helps to keep everyone in sync.

The designs, from the macro system to the micro parts, are displayed as 3D visuals, giving clarity and precision in the process of communication with all stakeholders.
