• Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform will be used across Airbus worldwide for all future generations of civil and military aircraft and helicopters.
  • More than 20,000 users across all business areas and the value chain will collaborate using Dassault Systèmes’ virtual twins to improve efficiency, shorten development cycles, and reduce costs.
  • This is a key milestone in the digital transformation of Airbus’s working methods and in preparing the next generation of aerospace products.

Dassault Systèmes and Airbus have expanded their long-term strategic partnership, placing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform at the core of lifecycle management for all new Airbus programs, both civil and military aircraft and helicopters.

This implementation will support the entire development chain of Airbus programs. More than 20,000 users across all business areas, as well as Airbus suppliers, will be able to collaborate more effectively and use virtual twins—either on-premise or in a sovereign cloud—to shorten development cycles, enhance production efficiency, and optimize after-sales support, all while reducing costs.

Digitalization is a key factor we are leveraging to advance our strategic priorities: from increasing production of our commercial aircraft, to preparing the next generation of platforms that will further contribute to the sector’s decarbonization, and developing pioneering solutions in defense and security,” said Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus. “This renewal of our alliance with Dassault Systèmes will be essential to accelerating our progress toward these goals, ensuring the highest levels of quality, safety, and protection throughout the entire lifecycle of our products and solutions, from design to in-service operations.”

Our long history of collaboration with Airbus is entering a new stage, enabling the entire organization and its value chain to innovate globally, efficiently, and virtually for decades to come. Airbus will be able to leverage generative, AI-driven experiences, as well as scientific advances in materials science, modeling, simulation, production, and operational efficiency—all enabled by our 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This will open new possibilities to imagine, create, and produce the experiences that will define the future of the aerospace industry,” said Bernard Charlès, Executive Chairman of Dassault Systèmes.

Dassault Systèmes will provide Airbus with seven industry solution experiences based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform: “Program Excellence,” “Winning Concept,” “Co-Design to Target,” “Cleared to Operate,” “Ready for Rate,” “Build to Operate,” and “Keep Them Operating.”
