- 3DEXPERIENCE is being incorporated into KUKA’s mosaixx digital ecosystem, making access to its solutions easier for industrial customers.
- The collaboration will enable robotics and automation companies to develop more efficient and adaptable solutions to transform their operations.
Dassault Systèmes has announced its alliance with KUKA, a global leader in industrial automation and robotics, to offer integrated solutions to the industry that meet the growing demands in these sectors.
Thanks to this agreement, the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will be integrated into mosaixx, KUKA’s digital ecosystem for industrial software solutions, giving KUKA customers an easy and accessible way to acquire and use 3DEXPERIENCE applications. With this collaboration, both companies aim to strengthen the use of virtual twin technology and enhance collaboration capabilities so that companies can develop more efficient and adaptable solutions in their operations.
The global market for industrial robot installations is valued at approximately €16.5 billion, driven by trends such as artificial intelligence and energy efficiency. With more than four million industrial robots operating in factories in 2024, the annual number of installations is expected to rise to 718,000 by 2026.
KUKA launched mosaixx in 2024 as a cloud-based collaborative platform for industrial software, giving system integrators and engineers access to a wide range of solutions to digitize and automate production processes, regardless of machine type or manufacturer.
The 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its applications are used across the industrial equipment sector worldwide to design, simulate, and develop products, processes, and infrastructures virtually with real-time data before physical production or implementation.
“Our collaboration with Dassault Systèmes allows us to expand the mosaixx portfolio with industry-leading virtual twin technology. Engineers will be able to run simulations and analyses with real-time data, while optimized collaboration will empower system integrators with flexible applications to enhance adaptability and innovation,” said Quirin Goerz, CEO of KUKA Digital.
“Thanks to this alliance with KUKA, we are making the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and applications such as CATIA, DELMIA, and SOLIDWORKS more accessible. This will enable customers to leverage the virtual world to collaborate and innovate in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, metallurgy, logistics, healthcare, and many more,” said Gian Paolo Bassi, Senior Vice President of Customer Role Experience at Dassault Systèmes.
The announcement of this collaboration took place during the 3DEXPERIENCE World event in Houston, aimed at the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE user community.
