Cadtech, a company belonging to CT and a partner of Dassault Systèmes, announces the renewal of its collaboration agreement with the BiSKY Team of the University of the Basque Country (UPV). This agreement marks the continuation of the successful alliance between both entities, further strengthening their shared commitment to innovation and technological development.

The collaboration between CADTECH and the BiSKY Team has been a testament to success since its inception, marking significant milestones in the field of suborbital space launcher design and development. This renewal agreement will allow the valuable exchange of knowledge and resources to continue, thereby driving the ambitious projects that the UPV student team undertakes with passion and dedication.

The training program offered by CADTECH and the full access to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform provided by Dassault Systèmes have been fundamental to the growth and development of the members of the BiSKY Team, equipping them with the skills and tools necessary to tackle technical challenges with effectiveness and creativity.

The capabilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, supported by CADTECH’s expertise, have been a cornerstone of the learning process, enabling students to explore and bring their ideas to life in innovative ways.

During the first year of collaboration, the BiSKY Team achieved impressive milestones, including the successful launch of the HERMES rocket, which broke the sound barrier and demonstrated the effectiveness of the components developed internally by the team. These achievements are a testament to the commitment and dedication of the BiSKY Team in the pursuit of excellence in the aerospace field.

The renewal of this agreement not only strengthens the partnership between CADTECH and the BiSKY Team, but also represents a renewed commitment to training the next generation of leaders in aerospace engineering. Both parties are excited to continue working together to drive innovation and progress in this exciting field.

With the support of CADTECH and Dassault Systèmes, the BiSKY Team is ready to take on new challenges and reach new heights in its pursuit of excellence in space exploration. This renewed collaboration promises to continue inspiring and empowering students to become the pioneers of tomorrow in the aerospace industry.

About the BiSKY Team

The university project of the BiSKY Team at the University of the Basque Country aims to develop suborbital space launchers capable of reaching an altitude of 100 km. These launchers seek to implement the various technologies developed by the team, as well as enable the transport of micro-experiments or cubesats. Some of their main milestones include the successful development of projects such as M1, in which they managed to build their first rocket engine, or Ganymede and IO, two rockets that served to validate recovery systems. Over the past year, they have focused on key projects such as M2, the second generation of hybrid engines, or ATLAS and HERMES, their first modular rockets.
