A new vision for urban mobility
Congestion, high costs, and lack of scalability continue to hinder many public transportation systems. With this starting point, Glydways was born, a U.S. startup that is betting on an automated transportation network based on autonomous electric vehicles, designed to offer sustainable, efficient, and fast-to-deploy solutions in urban environments.
Design and collaboration on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
To develop a highly complex system, with tens of thousands of components and globally distributed teams, Glydways chose the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in the cloud. Through CATIA, engineers work on a complete digital assembly of the vehicle, integrating mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines, while ENOVIA provides traceability between requirements, design, and validation, reducing errors and accelerating integration.

This digital approach has allowed Glydways to minimize the need for physical prototypes, reduce operational costs, and move more quickly toward industrialization. In addition, the platform’s scalability has supported its growth, expanding from a small initial team to more than 50 users collaborating today in a shared environment.
With projects underway in the United States and Europe, Glydways continues to develop its vision of more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable urban mobility, relying on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as the central pillar of its innovation.
