Dassault Systèmes and Volkswagen Group have announced today a long-term partnership to strengthen Volkswagen Group’s digital infrastructure in the development of next-generation vehicles through the implementation of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Volkswagen Group has chosen the 3DEXPERIENCE cloud platform as its main solution for engineering and manufacturing. Engineers, designers, and other professionals from the Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche brands will use virtual twins to optimize vehicle development. This will allow teams to simulate, test, and refine every aspect of vehicle development in a collaborative virtual environment before starting physical production, ensuring compliance with global regulations and sustainability standards.

Volkswagen Group will implement four Dassault Systèmes industry solutions based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform: “Global Modular Architecture,” “Smart, Safe and Connected,” “Efficient Multi-Energy Platform,” and “On-Target Vehicle Launch.”
